Android: Raymarine & SonarChart™ Live!

Now Android users can create SonarChart™ Live and benefit from their own HD bathymetry map in real time by connecting their smartphone/tablet wirelessly to their Dragonfly 4 and 5 PRO or Wi-Fish as Apple users already do. All units provide CHIRP DownVision in split-screen, while the Dragonfly PRO also equips users with a fishfinder view.

It’s fascinating watching SonarChart Live get drawn in real time on the screen. It is also a great tool to target fish holding structure, stay alert to changes in the seabed floor as you travel new and familiar waters, as well as monitor the improvements that a survey will bring to SonarChart.

When making SonarChart Live, users should make sure to have:
- Closed any other app that may have used the devices Wi-Fi before.
- Connected the wireless device to the mobile via Wi-Fi.
- Opened the Navionics Boating app and engage the GPS.
- Adjusted the color and transparency of SonarChart Live by accessing Menu>Map Options>SonarChart Live Settings (make sure Safety Depth/Depth Shading is set to the max value).

SonarChart Live is available on all our Navionics Boating (iOS from 8.1 and Android from 6.0) apps as a free, embedded feature.
